        E.g. IV morphine, ketamine

        Indication: all patient with >10% BSA

        MOA: use burns calculator (IV 0.9% saline) 2-4mL/kg/%BSA burned for first 24h (half this vol to be given in first 8h)
      - Cyanide antidote
        Indication: possible cyanide poisoning
        E.g. dicobalt edetate
      - Tetanus prophylaxis
        Indication: third degree burns

        Indication: deep partial or full thickness
        MOA: <3wk to minimise scarring
      - Aspiration
        Indication: large blisters
        MOA: aspirate to reduce likelihood
        of bursting and infection

        Indication: circumfrential burns
        MOA: release skin to allow circulation
        and ventilation
