FBC, U+E, glucose, troponins in electrical)
Analgesia (IV morphine) plus antiemetic (IV cyclizine)
Burns Parkland calculator for fluids (IV 0.9% saline)
2-4mL/kg/%BSA burned for first 24h
(half given in first 8h, rest over 16h)
Monitor fluids and UO carefully, need more in
electrical or inhalation injury
May need RBC transfusion if extensive burns
