Gardner's approach
Howard Gardner proposed a revolutionary revision of thinking about intelligence. In his book Frames of Mind: The Theory of Multiple Intelligences,
Gardner proposes that humans’ cognitive ability is pluralistic and that people possess different strong intelligences that can be developed (Gardner 1983; 1999). These multiple intelligences vary in degrees of strength, skill and limitation. This theory allows learners to learn in a way that complies with their particular strengths.
