"As a student here in Trondheim (Norway), life is not cheap and especially food is quite expensive. Since I heard about the free fridge, I followed its facebook page. Every once in a while, I'm alerted that plenty of food is left there. You know that the food is sometimes not 100% fresh anymore or has a weird shape, but why do you always need a perfectly round apple? It stimulates to be creative with food leftovers without throwing away anything.
It's a very low treshold concept, accessible 24h/24, so it's nice to pass by whenever it fits you. Sometimes you're very lucky, sometimes someone has already been there before you."
