What preparation do you need for a great championship?
Fencing is a sport that includes two people with swords. The aim is to score hits. There is also a referee. In the olden times when two people argued they fenced the first one to draw blood was wrong and the person would be dead.
This sport demands much power because in world championship tournaments, the rowers actually do need to move a long distance of over 2 kilometres in just a time span of 5-7 minutes.
The rowing team is called a “crew.” Men and women of all ages row both competitively and for pleasure. Rowers who are sculling compete in single, double and quad events.
Fencing is a group of three related combat sports. The three disciplines in modern fencing are the foil, the épée, and the sabre; winning points are made through the contact with an opponent. A fourth discipline, singlestick, appeared in the 1904 Olympics but was dropped after that, and is not a part of modern fencing.
