The train to Busan
Technological
In the movie, there is the use of modern, digital cameras to film the whole movie, in colour.
There is also the use of green screens, especially during the scene where everybody is running along beside the train, trying to get off it.
In the film, the actors aren't actually on the train, the set is made out of a wood structure,

Geographical
"The train to Busan" is set in Seoul, South Korea but throughout the film, it is set in several places in South Korea; Including Busan.
-
-
Social
As mentioned in Economics, there are a divide between social classes. The contrast between rich people and poor people is clearly shown.
I think the film has a target audience of people who are into the zombie apocalypse fantasy films, horror films but also people who are trying to learn Korean as this film does come with english subtitles.

Camera Angles
-
There is a lot of long shots and close up camera angles that display the characters emotions during the scene.
While the camera angle is long shot, we see silhouettes of the other people on the train. (We do not get to see their faces, just a blurred vision of their bodies)
Lighting
In the train, the natrual lightinng comes that is coming through the window is reflecting on the passengers faces from below, giving it an eerie tone.
There is also artificial blue lighting, the light gives the appearance of darkness/ night.

-
Historical
The film is set in modern day, we can assume the year 2015/2016 which was when filming took place.
We know it is modern day due to the use of current technology (Samsung smartphones, coloured tv's, modern trains etc)
Institutional
The film is made by a studio based film company, Next Entertainment World.

Sound
Non diegetic sounds in the scene would be the drum beats in the background that enhance the tense in the scene.
Diegetic sounds in the scene are: the sound of the zombies screaming, people in the background, the characters dialogues, the sound of the newspaper and the water being splashed against the window
Political
The film has some political issues,
COSTUMES: A FEW MIDDLE CLASS OR HIGHER CLASS MEN WERE WEARING SUITS AND SLIGHTLY BUSINESS FORMAL WEAR WHICH SIGNIFIES HIS HIGHER STATUS IN THE SOCIETY. WHILE THE OTHERS WERE WEARING CASUAL DAY TO DAY CLOTHES, WHICH DISPLAYS THE DAILY RELAXED PEOPLE, WHICH PLAYS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEIR ATTITUDES.
