In rural areas, it is based on deprivations as per
Socio-Economic Caste Census of 2011.
In urban areas, it is based on occupations, that
means, rag pickers, street vendors, domestic help, sanitation workers, etc will be included.
Package rates were prescribed by the
Government for 1,354 ailments.

2015 survey by the NSSO presented some

state-run trusts or societies make the outcomes uncertain

persuaded to regulate the hospital sectorunder the Clinical Establishments (Registration
and Regulation) Act, which dates back to 2010

There are apprehensions of fraud, so ayushman Bharat Administrators announced some key treatment through Public sector institutions
But the important point is, public facilities have
been neglected for long

Way forward
The first-order priority should be to draw up a road map for
Universal Health Coverage, through continuous upgradation of the public sector infrastructure.
