1) Effects of Media Violence on Children’s Physical Aggression
Impact of violent content in TV programs, films, video games, music, or comic books
Media violence were associated with negative outcomes: more aggressive behaviors, thoughts, and feelings, as well reduced helping behavior
Childhood exposure to TV violence predicted individuals’ physical aggression as adults
Children, had perceived TV violence to be realistic and who had identified with same-sex aggressive TV heroes and heroines
2) Effects of TV Content on Children’s Non-Physical Aggression
Among women in the sample childhood exposure to TV violence predicted nonphysical aggressive acts in adulthood (e.g., trying to get someone into trouble)
Harming someone’s social standing, often by manipulative acts such as gossiping, spreading rumors, or exclusion
Young teens who watched more programs featuring these forms of interpersonal hostility were more likely to engage in those behaviors themselves

Macrosystem is the largest set of people & things which has a great influence over the child.
The cultural practices & belief system will organize child daily routine to achieve goals in their development.
Parent's Work Environment
EXOSYSTEM: the third level, maintains influences such as societal intuitions, government, places of faith, school and work.
The children will easily influence by the parents work environment if they are exposed from early
example; the mother works as doctors, then the child may influence easily and wants to be a doctors too.
the child exposed to the parent's work environment such as know what the task of the parents, how the others colleagues works and others.
parents address the emotions of their work to the children and respond to them affects how expressive the children feel they can be
if parents let out their stress or emotional about work, the child may respond negative toward that occupation.
example; if the parents having stress about working, do no let it out to the children to prevent them having negative thought about it.
parents who have better occupation provide better facilities to the children
example; The parents work as engineer, they maybe provide better home and facilities that can enhance the child to be like them.
example; give better education (tuition, extra classes), better home (comfortable),
the children may have high respect for their's parents work.
