Ocean Mining: Ocean mining sites are used for drilling for silver, gold, copper, cobalt and zinc up to three and a half thousand meters down in to the ocean. Scientists have a general idea that deep sea mining causes damage to the lowest levels of the ocean, which increases its toxicity. This is permanent damage, and it also causes leaking, corrosion and oil spills which drastically hurt ecosystem.
