HOW: Give Cathy choices, presenting her with several jobs to choose from.

HOW: Meet with Cathy individually to identify with her how you and she should communicate in a special way,
Tier 2
- Individual & Visual schedules
WHY: Helps Cathy to initiate tasks more accountability for their behaviors, academic work, and expectations.
WHEN: When Cathy falls to complete tasks, in a timely manner and/or lose misplace work.
HOW: Sit down and explain the schedule to Cathy and how she will use it, where she will put it.
WHY:
- Improves grade and achievement increase
- Increase coping skills.

- Determine the academic deficit area.
- Test.
- Implement academic intervention targeting the specific academic deficit area.
- Test again.

WHY: Provide Cathy with more one on one help, support, and intervention.
WHEN: When Cathy need more specific and individualized help, solutions and plans to address issues.
HOW: For planned referrals, have Cathy, her parents, and homeroom teacher set up a day or days and ties to meet with the counselor .
Tier 3
WHY: Source of accountability encouragement, support, and advocacy.
WHEN: When Cathy does not seem to have any significant connections to learning, academics, and behaviors.
HOW: Cathy and mentor's relationship is all about connecting and establishing a rapport and trusting relationship.
- Collaboration with student's physician or psychologist
WHY:
- Provide valuable outside perspective ideas, strategies, understanding and interventions.
- Provide additional support for school stuff.
WHEN: When school interventions seem ineffective and consequences do not seem to impact Cathy's behavior.
HOW: Set up the meeting with Cathy's parents and school counselor. Based on the data, we recommend them to see the psychologist.
