Balanced Diet
Eating the right amount for your energy expenditure, the right amount of calories, eating according to how much you exercise eating different food types to provide suitable nutrients vitamins and minerals
Vitamins
Helps to maintain general health and body systems, assist different bodily functions, bone growth mainly from Fruit and Veg
Carbohydrates
55%-60%
Main and the preferred energy source over all high and low intensity activities, Carbohydrates are stored as glucose mainly from bread, pasta and potatoes

Good energy source, helps carry vitamins around the body, only used for low intensity activities, e.g. walking, fats provide more energy than carbohydrates

Excessive loss of body water, interrupting with the function of the body
