Trading
Present
There are still countries trading goods such as food, clothes, toys, medicine etc...
For example: If you go to a clothing shop in Dubai, most of the products are brought in from different countries such as China, USA or India. Its the same with food. The countries that make the products get profit from trading their products.
Wild animals aren't being traded so much anymore but people are trading animal skin or animal horns for profit.
Slave trading has stopped but there are still companies that make maximum profit and rely fully on child labours, forced prostitutes, child soldiers etc...
Trading still has a positive impact because companies are making profit by selling their products so people can use or eat them.
Apple inc: Apple is a tech company that sells phones, iPads, laptops and more. They exchange products and services for money. Apple sells most of their products in store in exchange for cash. Also, Apple releases a new phone every year, the phone doesn't necessarily have many changes but they increase the price and they make profit from the new phone. In the past, they would mostly exchange goods for goods and sometimes make profit.
ADS: Ads are now being used to put the product that you want to sell out there. In the past there were no ads that would make people want to buy your product, now ads are what pushes the product so that you will want to buy it even though you weren't planning on buying it. In addition, many companies like google and Facebook make money off pf ads because they get paid to host them.
Past
Columbian Exchange: Goods, people, animals and culture were exchanged throughout countries during this time.
Impacts:The 4 d's- diet,
disease, demographics, and dollars
Old world - New World: Plants and animals were traded from the old world and from the new world. This impacted diet, tradition and cuisine on both sides of the Atlantic.
Examples of crops that were traded: From the Old world to the new world many crops were traded such as coffee, sugarcane, oranges, rice, and wheat. Animals were also traded such as horses, cattle, sheep, and pigs.
New world - Old world: Foods that were brought from the new world to the old world were potatoes, tomatoes, corn, peanuts, pineapples, and chocolate.
Economic system: Capitalism economy. By trading goods, people and animals with other countries it allows to maximise profit. Most international trade was based of of plantation of goods such as sugarcane, tobacco, coffee and cotton. Plantation businesses started highly depending on slave labor resulting in the slave trade. After a while trading slaves was highly profitable.
Trading goods had a positive impact on society because it allowed people to get the resources they needed and the people who were selling could make profit. However, when the slave trade started in the 15th century and people were trading and abusing humans, it is a negative impact.
Future
Apple: In the future products would be sold online instead of in stores therefore allowing them to have a wider variety in countries that they sell in. If they go all online, people would be online more therefore seeing more ads and and wanting to buy the product and giving Apple maximal profit.
Apple will still uses ads to advertise and make profit but in a different way. They will use famous people such as you tubers to advertise the phone. " It gave a small faction of YouTube stars hands-on access before traditional outlets."
Trading these phones, computers, iPads etc.. will still have a positive impact on society.
