Meaning or definition from Greece origins
Having faith takes a lot of strength because it is hard to believe or have faith in something that feels so distant or something you can't see, feel, or hear.
There are two aspects in the analysis of faith. One is trust. This is vital to have faith in something because you have to be able to trust this thing or person that you are putting your faith in.
The second aspect of faith that is mandatory to enable faith is belief. Belief is hard but is important if you are going to have faith in this particular thing. The both of these aspects work in unison to create faith as a whole.
I think having faith in something is better than faithlessness because it gives you a greater hope and in biblical it gives you a bigger picture of everything and the end results.
Guaranteed I think faithlessness is definitely easier than putting your faith in something that is unseen. But it leaves you a little empty inside and gives you nothing to look forward to.
Comes from the Greek noun (pisto) and Greek verb (pisteuo).
Meaning and definition is, "to trust, to have confidence, faithfulness, to be relieved, to assure".
