What is ACE?

ACE stands for Adverse Childhood Experience

ACE are "potentially traumatic events that can have negative, lasting effects on health and well-being" (Sacks, 2014)

The ACE Study Questionnaire

The ACE Study Questionnaire focused on questions in areas related to emotional, physical, sexual abuse.

Comprised of 10 questions

Focused on events experienced from infancy to the age of 18.

The higher the ACE Score, the higher the probability of developing dangers behaviors and/or serious health problems
