Chief editor or executive editor
: the top editorial position at a magazine.
They are responsible for overseeing the vision for the publication and for managing the staff.
They usually neither write nor edit individual articles

Managing editor
: responsible for assigning articles and giving deadlines and word counts

Editor
: responsible for writing and editing.
They may or may not write articles, but review all articles for content before they are published.
Some editors oversee specific departments, such as a fashion editor or sports editor.
Editors also check text for proper spelling and grammar

Reporter/Writer
: responsible for taking interviews and writing articles, stories etc.

Photo editor
: responsible for selecting images and artwork to accompany a publication's articles

Photographer
: responsible for taking photos

: responsible for all the artwork
