You can identify places by land forms, weather and climate, vegetation. Signature helps you to understand the human and natural characteristics.
Some examples of a places are the difference between the changes that people made in Antarctica and the changes they made in New York.

Interaction centers on the connection between humans and nature. People make changes to nature to make their lives easier. Nature can also do things to people, like natural disasters can change peoples lives

movement
If something happens in a certain place it can affect another place. Movement is how goods, ideas and people spread.
For example, my sneakers were made in a different country and shipped to the US.

location
There are two different types of location, one is absolute location and the other is relative location. Relative location gives location that isn't very specific.
Absolute location give and exact location. For example you could give your address to someone who is trying to get to your house.

region
Regions are places that share one or more goal for the future. some of the types of regions are countries, cities, and states. People that live in the same region are under the same government. Things like culture and climate are also used to define regions.
For example, the united states in split up into regions like the mid west and the northeast.
