When he was a child he would take apart his brothers and sisters toys and then he would be able to put the together again.

Henry's dad was an immigrant from Ireland, and was a prosperous farmer.

His mother died in 1875 at the age of 37, shortly after losing a baby in childbirth.
Henry was born on July 30, 1863.

His family
In 1885, at a New Year's dance, Henry ( 21 years old ) met 18 year old Clara Jane Bryant.
Edsel married Eleanor Lowthian Clay on November 1st, 1916.
Henry and Clara got married on April 11, 1888.
Clara gave birth to their only child, a son named Edsel Bryant Ford on November 6, 1893.
Soon Eleanor give birth to Henry Ford II, Benson, Josephine, and William making Henry and Clara proud grandparents.
Sadly after Edsel was placed as president of Ford Motor Company in 1919 and after being physically and emotionally exhausted Edsel died of stomach cancer on May 26, 1943
Because Edsel died no-one was in charge of Ford until Henry Ford II became president of Ford Motor company.
The death
Henry Ford died of a cerebral hemorrhage on April 7, 1947, at the age of 83.

His career
Henry's career started when he and his dad were heading toward Detroit they ran into someone with a steam car on July 1876.

On August 11, 1896 at a banquet Henry met his hero, 49-year old Thomas Edison.
A few years after meeting Edison, Henry was offered a promotion to general superintendent of the Edison Plant.
