What I've learned this semester.
The ancient English
We learned plenty on these fellas, they are the origin of us and they had some amazing books and literature pieces.
We didn't completely get in depth but we did learn their lore and all the stuff they use to do such as daily activities and hunting and whatnot. Overall we learned to break down the different clans of old English.
How to create and map resumes
I personally learned a lot about resumes and one of the biggest things is that we do not need a fat big resume to be considered an optimal person to hire, many people have short resumes and that’s fine but now I know how to create them.
On top of learning how to do these things we also learned to master and be able to create the perfect variations of our own specific resumes, all the way down to the finest detail. We also learned many sites that allow you to create an easy and free resume.
Analyzing text
We’ve learned many things this year about analyzing info and text evidence but I feel this semester I’ve learned more than prior times. We’ve learned ethos pathos and logos along with easy ways to tell how they are used.
We learned to analyze text to the core and we gt really good at it. We went from ethos to many deeper connections and we learned to analyze text very efficiently.
Beowulf
We read Beowulf and learned many new and crazy info about the old days such as that folklore was highly common and that religion played a huge roll in this. Along with other people thinking monsters like dragons and stuff are alive.
On top of reading beowulf we analyzed it and completely dissected the book down to the every detail and every reason that detail was added, by far we did most on this unit.
Bibliographies
We learned how to draft and create our own personalized bibliographies aswell as how to edit and master them. Although they were never too hard I enjoyed making our bibliography.
Other than learning about them we just did them and they were long long long around 7-9 pages of pure annotation, although it felt useless know the reasons we did it and they helped me.
Portfolios
We learned to create a personal portfolio and inside is holding the keys to our future that hopefully get turned in. But otherwise we learned a lot about how to draft and create many pieces of text about ourselves and it was great.
For our senior portfolios we learned how to interview people, set up resumes, do bibliographies, write reflections an many more things that made this year fun.
How to mind map
We are currently learning to mind map such as above and I feel I’ve done a great job on doing so.
Even though were still on this it doesn't mean i'm not learning every step of the way. This topic has helped me open my mind to creation and the release of knowledge.
Reading info and keeping it contained
We have learned how to read text and thoroughly analyze and appreciate what the info has given us. Such as when we read Beowulf we had to read and hold the info in our heads as well as the knowledge that came with it .
We've learned how to read and actually analyze text such as books, news, journals, everything basically and to just be able to use our brains to process this.
Telling if news is biased
Another thing we learned was that media can and will hold a heavy bias these days and we need to learn to see that so we don’t become as biased as they are.

We spent a good amount of time looking into this and in all honesty these days suck, every source is know for ill information and everything we read these days carries a heavy bias. The world we live in is flooded in fake news.
How to tell if a news source is reputable
We’ve learned to process whether information is reputable as in is it true? Is it relevant? Do we have all the facts? And what could seem off about this?
We learned a lot about news but one thing we learned was how to tell if its reputable. One of the biggest things with news is what source it came from, when it was created, and the purpose it was created for.
Infozones and Media.
We’ve learned to completely analyze data and media given to us by the populous. This knowledge also helps us decipher fake media aswell as untruthful or half baked media.
With infozones we learned how to tell news sources main goals, how to tell the reason for a tweet, message, picture, or even video. We learned alot on how to tell.
