Place
Place Describes the unique features of an area of land. Natural characteristics is what that place has that is unique to that place. Human characteristic are things that humans made to make that place special.

For example Washington DC is a place because it has many monuments honoring special people and it is Americas capital, this is a human characteristics.
For example a natural characteristics is the grand canyon because it was made naturally not by humans.

Location
Location is a specific place that you can find using longitude and latitude. Longitude and Latitude is also know as absolute location. Relative location is near where that place is so it is not as exact as absolute location .

Interaction
There are two types of interaction one is how humans affecting the environment, the other one is how the environment affects humans.
When humans settle into an area that is cold you might try to work from home because there is always ice on the road. You might dress differently because you live in a cold place so you might wear sweatpants and sweatshirts or if it is so cold you might even wear a snow suit.
Ways that humans can change to make their lives easier and better. When humans settle into an area they begin to make relationships with the environment like creating barriers on the beach if that areas roads flood because the tide gets really high.
