The 7 Years War
Ended the rivalry between the British and the French and left the British in control of Canada and France
The war left the British in debt, and since the war had benefited the colonists, they thought the colonists should be taxed
The 7 Years War led to the taxes which angered the colonists because they didn't think they should be taxed
Intolerable Acts
The Boston Port Act, Disband Massachusetts legislature, New Quartering Act, and Officers now in England were the Intolerable Acts
