The Proclamation of 1763
This act colonists prohibited Americans from settling West of the Appalachian mountains and those who were already settled there were forced to relocate to the East.
This angered Americans as the reason as to why they couldn't migrate was because Britain was afraid they would lose the controlling grip they had on the colonies.
