Meaning
Before Macbeth says this line he is told by the witches
he is going to have to kill King Duncan and will become king.
Macbeth is shocked and horrified at first
but then understands it is his ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ to kill King Duncan as the witches can foresee the future. #
