Art Style
8 Bit
I think this will be the idea that we go for just because it is the easiest to do for both of us, this is also easy for the time that we have and for the game idea.
2D Cell Shaded
This art style will be better if we were good at this art style but we both prefer using pixel art to create our assets.
3D Style
This art style would make the game more immersive but would not be the best due to the time constraints. Although this
Colourful
To really engage the player in our game we must use this art style, the colour of the game will attract more people as well.

Alternative Ideas
Dungeon Crawler - Learn things as you progress through the game - boss fight at the end that tests you, if getting a question right the monster takes damage
3D or 2D
2D would mean a game that takes less time to finish, and the team is more efficient in 2D art and 2D game production than 3D.
-
RPG - Learn mathematical formulas as you progress through the RPG game. The player can attack the enemy with the correct formula (a skill). Basing on a game I played that teaches Japanese to the player.
-
2D
again, 2D is easier to make than a 3D RPG game for what we can do.
Platformer - Player is at a lake, there are pads along the lake, player has to get from one side of the lake to the other.
Educational part - question above the pads, jump on the wrong pad and you fall into the water and lose, solve the question and jump on the correct pad to win.
3D
Truck Loading Simulator - the player have to fill a truck every day with various packages of different size. The player will have to calculate the right area in order to load the package in, otherwise it'll get rejected and since there's a limited amount of package, the player will get less cash on loading less package onto the truck. Idea Generation
Maths
Choice game.
Score to provide competition, raising excitements in competitive students.
Idea - Dungeon Crawler, fight to win against enemies using correct questions. (D.K)
Idea: Tetris Style (D.K)
every now and then, a question pops up. As the time goes on, the faster the blocks drops, and the less time the player gets to answer the questions. (A.W)

Scrapped Concepts
-
Game Mechanics (Mobile)
We've done this in mobile so that everyone can play it without needing a computer, allowing teachers to give the students maybe a 10 minute game time near the end of the lesson every day. In order to reinforce their basic knowledge
