covenant
God made two covenants during our reading so far. The first of the two are between Adam and Eve and God. This covenant came after the fall of the humans it is where Protoevangelium happened and God promised to send a savior
the second covenant comes with Abraham, Sarah and God. In this covenant God will give Abraham descendants, a son, and land. In return all Abraham will have to give is faith to God and trust him with everything He asks of them.
Joshua
Joshua was spiritual but not religious and tried to convince the town he lived in that they don't need religion to please God. Joshua was sent to Rome to be put in from of the Pope and other high priests for judgment just as Jesus was judged in front of high priests and romans. This is just one more connection between Jesus and Joshua.
People like relativists could relate to Joshua because of his way of having different truths. This way of connecting to relativism is another way Joshua fits into our studies this year.

creation stories
First creation story
In this story there are six days of creating and humans are made last not first. Also after the humans are created God rests and the story ends there is no further reading
in the second story God creates humans first and tries to find ways to complete then before creating women. Unlike the other story this continues after creation and we find the fall during this story as well as the Protoevangelium.
