Defination
(or spermatic cyst) is a fluid-filled sac that grows in the epididymis. That’s a small tube near the upper testicle that collects and transports sperm.
patophysiology
spermatoceles can originates as diverticulum from the tubules found in the head of epididymis. sperms formation gradually cause the diverticulum to increase in size causing a spermatocele. they are due to continuity between the epididymis and tunica vaginalis
