The impact on society
moral
all people working wold have training in how to use the machines and how to work them. they should also be told about all the dangers of the machines as well
the work space would be clean with inspectors coming in regularly to check if it is a suitable condition also machines would checked up to make sure they are efficient and working properly
the product should be built in reliable and fair trade places where all workers get aid the right price and all working conditions are safe where the people aren't in danger such as a clean environment, comfortable working space and no lose parts/reliable machines
the pay for the workers will depend on what part they are doing in the manufacturing process. they would probably work in an other country where the minimum wage is lower and cost of living is lower. this is due to the fact that the product would need to be made cheaply as it would need to be sold at a very low price. however worers would not be exploited and be paid enough to have a good lifestyle
-
Not sold at a huge price for a cheap manufacturing cost ( meaning it won't exploit customers by making them pay for a bad value-for-money product)
-
enviromental
somemetals ud are probably mined so could try limit the usuage or use recycled metals to limit the stra8in on the enviroment
some materials used may cause deforest station such as red wood and other kinds of wood so the product could be made from wood from plantations or limit the use of wood
materials used are lijkely to be a range of wood such aspine, redwood, mahogany, ply wodd. however should try not to use so many hardwoods as the production of hardwoods causes deforestation .also could use metals such as aluminium copper or steal. and could usefew plastics such as acrylic. try to useless finite resources and try and use recycled materials.
make sure the product is made from resoruces or parts that can be acessible to users in case they need to replace parts to stop wastage and makle the product mopre sustainable
theproduct could be foldable or flat backable so more could be transport3ed reducing costs and enviromental impacts. this also reduces space in the home and also makes the designs alot more practical
make it strong and sustainable so that it does not need much If any paddy during transportation reducing the maount of materials needed and wasted.
social
it makes people get outdoors as they need to go out to get the water however it saves alot of time for the people as they only need one trip to a water source for the rest of the day. this encourages people to be more actibe in doing other tasks such as working or having fun
it encourages people to live a more healthy lifestyle as they can now use clean water for easy tasks such as washing hands, drinking or eating as they will have cleaner water.
our product promotes the consumption of drinkable water and helps limit the spread of water born disieases such as chlorera. this can help out alot of families and help a country develop further as they will have healthier citizens.
the product helps people socialise as they will send less time collecting water or less time being ill as the product helps filter the water making it easy to drink
cultural
as the product is aimed for people in a different culture to here in the Uk the product would need to appeal to them and not have any offensive meanigns behind the prodict or any colours/pictures that could give the wrond messages
theproduct would be more aimed for in people in less developed countries in drier countries such as in south east asia or some parts of africa. the product would apply more to small comunities or villages in remote places.
Must be functional to everyone no matter their education, so easy to operate. it also must be easily transportable to any community and work in most environments.
economicall
we could reduce costs through mass producton and uses cheaper materials that may not look as good but provide the same function.
the product would need to be quite cheap to make and therefore se quite vheap resources. this is so the traget market can afford the product
also make replaceable parts from cheap resources so they can be replaced with ease or make them very sustainable so that they would rarely need to be replaced.
