Martin Luther King Jr. was born January 15,1929.

He was born in Atlanta, Georgia.

Martin learned on of his first lessons about the Jim Crow system from his father.

Family

His father Martin Luther King Sr. was a pastor of the Ebenezer Baptist Church.

Martin had 2 siblings named Christine and Alfred Daniel.

Straight A student, so he skipped 2 grades and was able to enter Morehouse College.

Became a Pastor like his father at the age of 18.

Married Coretta Scott on June 18, 1953.

Beliefs

Martin believed the whole system was unfair and stupid.

Martin believed that a him and all of the blacks could win blacks fair rights.

Martin believed in nonviolence boycott.

Martin and Coretta had 4 kids named.

Martin believe that everyone should be treated the same.

Born a Christian.

Family lives in Georgia.

Boycott

There where a lot of struggles during the boycott for example Martin got arrested multiple times.

Martin had multiple speeches but one that everyone knows was on august 28, 1963 in Washington, D.C.

Martin told all of the blacks not to ride the busses until they were fair to the blacks.

Martin lead multiple marches.

All of the blacks protested.

Snipers fired at the buses.

Martins house was bombed.

Blacks were lynched by mobs.

Martin was on the balcony of his motel then got shot in the head and died in the Memphis hospital.
