They are also rebuilding all the sporting facilities, fields and courts.

Ed made a makeshift locker room in the Bus Barn where they would go to there before practice and every game. He also made it a makeshift weight room for his football players to lift.

Ed had football players dig graves for people in the community and other schools also came up to help dig as well as clean up the area.

Jan was an EMT and she worked on the rescue squad and had to check lots of people out to either get them to a hospital or see if they're ok.

Back to Normal
The light poles got put back up on the football field and ready to go. One night Jon Thompson the superintendant got a call from ed saying meet me in town thinking something bad happened and he saw the south side of town lit up because of the lights.
In the 1995 season A-P's first football game of the season was at home and they ended up losing and didn't play their hardest, Ed had a flashback to then.
Ed got back into a routine getting up going to the weight room everyday and teaching Drivers ED every morning.
In the same year Ed had practice on Labor day and if there was a loss before that Monday those Mondays were the worst days of practice and today was one of those days.
The Unthinkable on June 24, 2009
Once he was in the hospital and everyone visited the trauma room they were wondering why he was bruised and it was because he got stomped on twice by the killer.
At Ed's funeral when they were taking him to the burial site people from around the state and country put up a 4 when the car passed because it was one of Ed's traditions going into the 4th quarter.
Once the cops and ambulance showed up everyone was wondering why someone would do that to such a good guy.
On June 24, 2009 one of Ed's former player Mark Becker whos' brother just ended his junior season came into the bus barn and shot him in the head 7 times.
