Arduino for beginners

Arduino is an open-source electronic prototype platform based on flexible and easy-to-use hardware and software.

A microcontroller is an integrated circuit that has its internal contains a central processing unit (CPU), memory units (RAM and ROM), input and output ports and peripherals.

Arduino was invented in 2005 by the then student of the institute IVRAE Massimo Banzi

to the computer programs that allow access to its programming code is called open-source

Arduino Uno (R3)

LilyPad Arduino

Red Board

Arduino Mega (R3)

Arduino Leonardo

The board can be supplied with power either from the DC power jack (7 - 12V), the USB connector (5V), or the VIN pin of the board (7-12V). Supplying voltage via the 5V or 3.3V pins bypasses the regulator, and can damage your board. We don't advise it.

a breadborard board for making an experimental model of an electric circuit.

The Arduino has multiple power and ground pins that you can connect to the power rails or other rows on a breadboard. Connecting the Ground (GND) pin from an Arduino to a row on a mini breadboard. Now any leg or wire connected to that row will also be connected to Ground.
