Many trades took place when the Spanish Conquered the Americas, many new plants were given to each nation. These plants went on to make places famous, for example, Italy is known for its tomatoes on pizza and India is known for their spicy curries. New world’ foods completely changed the food habits of many European countries! As well a certain countries being known for plants, the trades opened up tons of different opportunities for food that needed plants from both nations, things like pizza, tacos, lasagne, bolognese and many more.
