Examining the Content:
5 Sections: Section 2 reviews the literature on pro-environmental behaviours, outlines the knowledge gaps and formulates the hypotheses. Section 3 provides details on the data gathering process and describes the methodology for statistically testing the measurement model. The results are presented in Section 4. Finally, implications derived from the measurement model are presented together with directions for further research in Section 5
a positive significant relationship was found between the perceived behavioural control and waste prevention behaviour and between social norms and waste prevention behaviour.
1.the drivers of waste prevention behaviour, as waste prevention is an important issue and thus a more nuanced approach is required.
suggests avenues for future research
Introduction: Understanding how to influence people to adopt more sustainable patterns of consumption and pro-environmental behaviour has been identified as a key step in addressing some of the biggest environmental challenges we currently face, such as ensuring a low-carbon future, diminishing the amount of waste produced and reducing current overconsumption patterns
types of evidence
based on 375 questionnaires collected in Pietra Ligure. Data were modelled using a structural equation model to test the hypotheses.
types of literature
it's simply and directly to find out that the method of this research
the research aims to provide a more nuanced view by examining the determinants of individual behaviour when deciding to either purchase a certain item or to extend the life of an owned item through repair or reuse activities.
