5 Sections: Section 2 reviews the literature on pro-environmental behaviours, outlines the knowledge gaps and formulates the hypotheses. Section 3 provides details on the data gathering process and describes the methodology for statistically testing the measurement model. The results are presented in Section 4. Finally, implications derived from the measurement model are presented together with directions for further research in Section 5
Conclusion:
a positive significant relationship was found between the perceived behavioural control and waste prevention behaviour and between social norms and waste prevention behaviour.

Introduction: Understanding how to influence people to adopt more sustainable patterns of consumption and pro-environmental behaviour has been identified as a key step in addressing some of the biggest environmental challenges we currently face, such as ensuring a low-carbon future, diminishing the amount of waste produced and reducing current overconsumption patterns
