Stay involved as much as possible with the child/parents, continue to educate yourself on their condition(s), and make follow-up recommendations as needed. If everyone involved in the process continues to look for ways to help, the child can live a very happy and normal adult life and be whoever that want to be!
If there is enough evidence to cause concern teachers start an evaluation period and work more closely with the student
