Supply of water can be disrupted due to to damaged water pipes sewage pipes may burst

Flooding may damage machinery and equipment such as drilling machine
Factories are not ale to operate properly as they d not have the required machines and thus severe economic loss
Requires a lot of money to replace the equipment
Damage to transport infrastructure
Floodwater can cause damage to roads and railway tracks
During floods roads and railway tracks might be submerged and impassable
Force of floods can be to powerful and damage roads and bridges
Government face economic loss as they have to repair these infrastructures
Disruption to energy supply
Power cut may continue on for weeks and effect lives
For example power lines get cut due to heavy flooding
Floods can disrupt the supply of energy by affecting its distribution
Government requires money to clear the disruption to the energy supply
