Steps to Solve it
Step 1: Organize tools for prep
Step 2: Measure ribbon in desired size squares and cut out 7 squares in each size cut.
Step 3: Fold Ribbon squares in half and then again, curling into a loop-shape
Step 4: Using long-needle nose pliers, place the edge of the loop over a lit flame candle or lighter to bond the ribbon edges.
Step 5: Cut the edge under the loop to make it more stable. Then seal the ribbon with the flame.
Step 6: Once all the ribbon loops are cut and bonded, cut a circle of felt around the size of a quarter
Step 7: Using a hot glue gun, place dots of glue along the edge and place the loops on the dots, creating a flower shape
Step 8: If making a more complex design, add the extra loops and designs with the hot glue gun.
Step 9: Finish the flower by gluing a button or brooch in the center to hide the loop centers.
Step 10: Your flower is finished. Add backings as desired (such as a alligator clip for a hair pin or a brooch pin for a brooch).
