Factories and companies are unable to operate due to lack of electricity. Thus, causing loss of employment and income.

Easily damaged and submerged in water and will affect quality of motors and other electrical components.
Unable to operate at its full capacity and will cause factories to suffer economic losses and many will lose their jobs.

Water Supplies may be contaminated by chemical spills from factories or sewages causing diseases like cholera and dysentery to spread.

Supply of clean water will be disrupted due to damaged water pipes, sewage pipes may also burst and contaminate the water.

Causes damage to property and sweep houses.
May require some to move to emergency shelters while homes are being rebuild
