MEANS OF TRANSPORT
AIR TRAVEL
The airplane is the easiest way to travel, it is faster than the other means of transport but it's not the cheapest one. It also has different types of flights.
RAILROAD TRAVEL
Rapid transit is a term used for public transport such as commuter trains, metro and light rail. Large cities have a metro sistem, also called underground, subway or tube.
Commuter trains are used for shorter distances, those trains are a very efficient mode of transportation to cope with large traffic demand in a metropolis.

Regional trains stop at all intermediate stations between cities and serve all line-side communities, they also serve local traffic demand in relatively rural areas.
High speed trains are particulary long-distance fast intercity trains. They often have a restaurant car and sleeping cars. These trains offer utmost comfort and safety. They provide time for work thanks to the electric sockets at the seats and large personal tables and time for resting.
EuRail passes can only be used by non-Eu residents. Passengers can buy those passes up to six months in advance and, once in Europe they must activate the passes at a train station. It is valid on domestic and international trains.
European residents can travel with the InterRail passes, these are only for basic trains and they're not valid on high speed trains.

Car rental: Tourist often rent cars for a short period of time during their journey. If they book a car online the agency will provide it ready at the airport of the traveller's destination. The car must be returnet in good condition, also some companies set a minimum age for the vehicle driver.

Cruise ships or Cruise liners are passenger ships used for pleasure voyages. A cruise is a package tour made up of a number of components, it can last several weeks.

Ferries are smaller ships that operate across rivers and other short distances. They're using by passengers travelling on foot and people travelling by car, motor-bike, caravan etc..
