tbh I don't really know yoga ... do you?

one thing is that yoga, as practised here, is often reduced to simply physical exercises, e.g. slowing down breathing . now Alexander had a problem with that as he believed people were forcing their body through yoga, rather than discovering the hidden misuses,

correct faulty sensory awareness

ex lips and MP embouchure

we are almost always phys tense without knowing it; or in places we aren't aware of. e.g me on sax .- stretching my lips rater than closing them around MP.

mental control

faulty sensory awareness

not doing a 'jump-start' reaction to something

paying attention to the present moment, vs end-gaining

stage 3 in PDA's habit-breaking – stopping before we do something.

(stage 1 = noticing we have done sth; stage 2 = noticing as we do it).
