It is related to Positivism since its analysis is based on facts or values that should be evidenced or "true".
Has a similar perspective as "Radical Historicism", because it concentrates more on a low level of generality.

"Rejects the construction of grand-narratives" (Lawson, George and Hobson, John M.,2008), so it focuses more on particularities.

It relates to Contextualism, thus depends of the context in which the historical event is situated.
