CONCLUSION- It's all about building relationships through words. Being truly transparent in our work means we will need to have more conversations we find difficult. If we hold in our thoughts we cannot be truly transparent and move forward. The 7 C's help us say how we feel in the moment, and discover how the other person feels too.

Depending on how we say things we can have various outcomes - we can help, strengthen relationships and co-create change ideas by considering everyone's perspectives. Or people can become hurt, disengaged and become resistant to change ideas.

WHY WOULD WE WANT TO CHANGE OUR LANGUAGE? To improve our relationships with each other. Good language is the foundation for this - the 7 C's leads the way as a very good tool to be able to improve relationships. Whether working to meet the needs of those around us in our working or personal lives or for any improvement project.
Trust in the appreciative approach and seeing the results has improved confidence on how to move forward in a difficult situation
