Using Next Generation Science Standards and Hammond's Culturally Responsive Teaching framework to design engaging place-based curriculum.
Aligning classroom work with field experiences in collaboration with students, partner organizations, families/caregivers, teachers/staff, volunteers and community members
Interacting with and investigating the natural world, in and around our school site, in our school garden, throughout the greater neighborhoods, as well as in parks and natural areas
