Single-Tasking
ABSOLUTELY TONS of evidence points to the idea of multitasking as actually being not only slower, but less accurate
There is a certain amount of prep that goes into any task, switching tasks often forces us to do this prep repeatedly. Single tasking means we prep once for whatever we are doing and get it done with less wasted time on "setup"
Batching Tasks
Similar to Single-Tasking, batching similar tasks (like checking email or running errands) saves us time by eliminating the need for repeated setup.
The Flow

The "Flow" occurs most easily when our skills match the challenge required. Best is when the challenge is high, but our skills are also high.
The Paradox of Choice
Having more options actually makes us LESS satisfied with our choice (so many things that MIGHT have been better) AND makes the decision itself take much more time.

Maker/Manager Days
Block off certain days (or times in a day) when you are a "maker", or creating/working directly on a project and "manager", where you're handling delegation, answering emails, going to meetings, making phone calls, etc.
Creative work can require large chunks of focused work, creating "maker" days where you are unreachable allows this time to be used without having to break focus with emails, meetings, calls, etc.
Batching meetings at the end of the day is also an idea, as it allows the morning and early afternoon to be "maker" time and you don't have the meeting looming over your head.

Automating Finanaces

Automatic Bill Pay - saves TONS of time writing/mailing checks. Often, what can't be done "automatically" can be outsources to your bank, they will write and mail checks for you (sometimes you can schedule this, others you simply punch in the details quickly and the rest is done for you.

Use your savings account to create "sub-buckets", or alternate accounts to save for specific things (down payments, weddings, vacations, big-ticket items, etc.)

Tip - use a credit card with rewards (airline miles, cash back, etc.) for most, if not all, purchases. BE SURE TO PAY OFF WITH CASH to avoid interest.

Cooking
Most active cooking time is spent on prep - cutting and slicing. Learning to properly use a knife is key to speeding up this process.

Can be done outside of the gym with little equipment (pullups/rows/dips may need some minimal, but less than $100 for basics)
