primary tumours are relatively rare and may arise from hepatocytes, the bile ducts, connective tissue or the blood vessel and may benign or malignant..
Secondary tumours ofn the liver occur owing to its high rate of blood flow, size and its portal drainage input from the major abdominal organs. the cancer to the liver by: direct extension from nearby organs.
