Pathophysiology
when obstruction occur an imbalance between secretion and absorbions develops, intestinal fluids content, gas accumulate above obstruction, this cause abdominal distention which result in reduced fluid absorbed and increase in intestinal secretion
-
an increase of intestinal secretion and pressure in lumen cause the abdominal wall to be oedematous and venous drainage is impeded .The pressure increase can capillary permebility that allows extravation of fluids to peritoneal cavity the wall become permeable to bacteria
