As Marget Court loses to Bobby Riggs in a tennis match badly, Billy Jean feels that womens will not get equal respect as Bobby proved that men are better by beating the number 1 women tennis player at that time
Falling Action
To prove Bobbie Riggs is wrong about women, Billie Jean works her hardest to prepare, but the pressure on her to win puts a great deal of stress on her, and she comes down with the flu. Her goal is to show everyone that women can and are powerful individuals.
Resolution
After Billie Jean wins the big match against Bobby Riggs, she goes into the locker room to cry tears of joy.
Bill Jean King and Larry King divorce, and found her true love; Ilana Kloss. Larry remarried, with Billy Jean and Ilana godparents to his children. Billy Jean was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame in 2011, and became an advocate for LGBTQ rights.
Bobby and Priscilla Riggs remained happily married, and he never gave up gambling.
Larry finds out that Billy is having an affair with another woman
After knowing that Larry already knows about her and Marilyn , problems start arising between her and Marilyn.

At the beginning of the movie, we are introduced to both Billy Jean King and Bobby Riggs.
After receiving a letter from Jack Kramer, Billie Jean goes to confront Jack over the fact that he and others are trying to keep female tennis players out of the Pacific Southwest Open as they believe the sport attracts more viewers with male players.
Billie Jean King has just been named the number one player of the sport tennis. Bobby Riggs is having trouble with his family over his gambling problems.
Billie Jean King then decides to have her own tournament and tells all the ladies that they have been kicked out of the U.S Lawn Tennis Association.
