REFUGEE CRISIS

Kanwal Sibal - Europe itself is responsible for the present refugee crisis. Europe now faces a big moral crisis where if they turn their back to the refugees, it would end up violating its own commitment of HR. This refugee crisis can only be subverted in future if Europe recognizes that it is their own making and change their policies.
like eu turkey deal:
the deal is refugee to stooped in turkey befor eu border and settled in refugee camps in urkey and for this turkey will be given financial aid
this deal is termed by unhrc as voilation of human rights
amesty international calls it hisoric blow to human rights and voilation of eu conevention on human rights
G. Sampath - He point towards emergence of economic and climate refugees in future. He point towards the rising global inequality, where richest 1% owns 50% of the world's wealth. This will produce economic refugees in search of better livelihoods. This phenomenon is encouraged within national borders - as urban migration. Increasing global warming will lead to climate refugees.

Legal Aspects -
1951 Refugee Convention - It is a UN Convention that defines who is a refugee and sets out the rights of the individual who are granted asylum and the responsibilities of the nation that grant asylum. (India is not a party to the Convention)
