- - - - An Assessment Plan or Prior Written Notice (denying assessment) must be developed within 15 days of the referral date.
        
        Educational need is determined through multi-tiered assessments.
        
        An IEP team is formed, which can include student, parent, general education teacher(s), special education teacher, specialist(s), psychologist, counselor, representative of the district, and/or administrator.
        
        IEP Meeting: Within 60 days of the district's receipt of a signed Assessment Plan, the IEP Team work together to outline student's strengths, weaknesses, and related goals to form the IEP.
        
        IEP is reviewed annually to determine progress and plan for the upcoming year.
        
        Every three years, student is reevaluated for eligibility. Past IEPs and student records are reviewed.
        
        Student receives Related Services, which were determined during the IEP process.
