Exceeds Expectations
Refer scholar to Gifted Program to get tested
Incorporate "extra" work in the classroom which is hands
on, engaging, STEAM activites, in which a child is challenged to think outside of the box
Encourage scholar to be apart of clubs such as math club, science fair, chess
Keep projects and assignments to show Gifted Instructor
Meets Standards
Communicate with parents the rate at which the child is performing is within the grade level standards
Monitor students work in classroom and make sure student is continuing to meet standards
Stretch child outside of comfort zone with new, challenging activities
Encourage the student to learn new things and challenge themselves more at home and in the community
Continue to provide scholar with resources to continue learning at present academic level

Identify Struggling Child with benchmark testing such as GMAS, Star Literacy, and Math
Refer student to Special Education
Communicate/Collaborate with parents
Implement an IEP plan
Assist scholar with daily assignments through use of paraprofessionals or other aides
Modify activities with longer time, working one on one for assessments, special seating arrangemtns
