  - - - make Your way straight before me

      - they flatter with their tongue
  - - - for they rebelled against YOU
- - - - for in death, there is no remembrance of YOU; In Sheol, who give You praise?
  - - - I drench my couch with my weeping
  - - - they shall turn back and be put to shame in a moment
    - - for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping
      - the Lord has heard my plea
      - the Lord has accepted my prayer
- - - - he makes a pit and dig it out
  - - - Telling what he scared: like a lion, they tear my soul apart, rendering it in pieces, with none to deliver
    - - (Deal with) lift Yourself up against the fury of my enemies

        let the evil of the wicked come to an end
        
        the wicked would fall into a pit they made; mischief returns upon their own head
        
        his violence descends on his own skull
        
        let the wicked of evil come to an end
        
        You appointed a judgment
        
        The Lord judges the peoples
        
        O Lord, judge me according to my righteousness / the integrity that is in me
        
        Oh righteous God
        
        YOU tests minds and hearts
        
        a God feels indignation every day
        
        If a man does not repent
        
        God will whet His sword
        
        HE has bent and readied His bow
        
        making His arrows fiery shafts
        
        HE has prepared His deadly weapons
        
        God save the upright in heart
        
        my shield is with God
      - (Attention) O Lord, arise in Your anger
      - (Attention) awake for me
    - - claimed no wrong doing
        
        e.g. plundered enemies without causes
        
        if i have done this and if there is wrong in my hand
        
        if i have repaid my friends with evil
        
        if he were to do such bad things
        
        let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake it
        
        let him trample my life to the ground
        
        lay my glory in the dust
      - Reflection: do I take refuge in YOU
    - - I will give thanks to the God due to His righteousness
      - I will sing praise to the name of the Lord, the Most High
- - - - YOU have set Your glory above the heavens
      - YOU have set in place
        
        outcome: I look at Your heavens,the moon and the stars
        
        the work of Your fingers
    - - YOU have established strength because of Your foes
        
        from where
        
        out of mouth of babies and infants
        
        to achieve
        
        to still the enemy and the avenger (Satan?)
  - - - YOU have made him a little lower than the heavenly
        beings
        
        YOU have given him dominion over the works of Your hands
        
        all sheep and oxen, also the beasts of the field
        
        the birds of the heavens
        
        the fish of the sea
        
        YOU have put all things under his feet
      - God is mindful of man or care for the son of man
      - crowned him with glory and honor
