        Does the patient look sick? = Yes Could this be an infection? =No will trigger the below alert (unless the higher alert is already triggering within the NEWS Score)
        
        Does the patient look sick? = Yes, Yes Could this be an infection? = Yes (unless the higher alert is already triggering within the MEOWS Score)
        
        Does the patient look sick? = No Could this be an infection? =No will trigger the below alert (unless the higher alert is already triggering within the NEWS Score)
        
        Does the patient look sick? = No Could this be an infection? =Yes will trigger the below alert (unless the higher alert is already triggering within the NEWS Score)
        
        Single Score of 3 in any category - At risk of severe deterioration - Increase frequency to hourly observations, strict fluid balance (Suspect Sepsis)
