everything ordinary, routine, daily lives, clothing recipes, children as they're growing up, who knows who they are, backgrounds, the 'small things', conversations
'where do all the people go?' or 'where have they gone and why?'
the peoples history, who lived - personal recollections of shared stories by the old people who had lived here for along time.

changing/transitional community (i.e since the 1970s) and how social change and goverment and council policies have impacted on the people of Addington

places of interest, historic places, natural heritage e.g names of waterways
where things are and were (Oddfellows - Hummingbirds Coffee), what thing had housed in them in the past
neighbourhood changes (buildings, streetscapes)
the vanished landmarks and institutions, or where buildings and places have been re-purposed (i.e the original use it not remembered or commemorated)
The housing in Addington has intensified - would be nice to have a record of our streets of shopping areas as we transition.
Spaces places - the Addington Farm, Sallies Church, The Addington Haven

bicycle route, walking routes, shortcuts where cars cannot go, through parks and green spaces
biking or bussing to the library is too far for us oldies

bring all cultures together (people) to brainstorm ideas to make peace (these spaces exist in Netherlands, but missing in Addington) important learning process so the mistakes of the past not repeated or forgotten and the positive celebrated
recordings of community members with stories of their lives, not just european cultures but mixture of people, races and their stories need to be valued and recorded
soundscapes of birds, trains, traffic, church bells, voices, langauge.
Capture a sense of community, diversity of Addington (good and bad).

Special events e.g fairs, concerts in church. Weekly events - choir, Manuka Cottage gatherings.

sports facilities, services for elders, cemetery. Particularly including tangata whenua and story of Te Whiti O Rangonai and Addington Prison.
