What were the origin, development, significance and long-term impact of imperialism in this period?
Who was involved?
Mostly Britain was the country that was heavily involved in imperialism but there were also other countries like Germany, France and Russia.
What did it mean?
Most countries at this time wanted big Empires like Britain, this is because if you had more land it meant more goods to sell and more places to sell them at. This meant more money towards the Empire which made them more powerful.

Why was it important?
Imperialism was very important to countries around the world. This is because countries like America would have never been economically strong imperialism never happened.
